One more Vietnam Era memory.... [PIC]

Thanks for the airplane model pictures. Like many of you, I built model kits of many of the century series fighter planes. Today, with  one exception I only have about 25 diecast planes, about 2/3 from WW2 and 1/3 jets.

@ed-davis I love the German jet and rocket ones:

I always loved scale model airplanes (and real ones) from when I was a kid right up through the years. I still have a number of built (and unbuilt) replicas in various scales and materials.

One of my favorite plane kits were DC3’s and XB70 ? Quite a big difference in airspeed capabilities though.

Lol ! Just a bit ! But I really loved both of them and have replicas of each. Like automobiles and models/diecasts of aircraft, there are a whole bunch that I really like.
