Here is a picture showing everyone's automobiles parked by the family house for a get together on the holidays ..... perhaps Labor Day or Thanksgiving. In any case, they are all driving (Yat Ming 1/43) cars, including a Thunderbird, a Pontiac Trans Am and a Mercury Marauder. The dwelling is actually an internally-lit ceramic house/lighthouse of about 1/43 scale or so.
In red, white & blue, it could be a Yat Ming Memorial Day.
Wonderful pic - warm and inviting!
Great photo MIke.
Thanks ! I would happily drive any of those real cars, lol. The only non-model part of the image is actually just the background photographic image, which was a picture of a 1:1 sky around here some years back.
Various ceramic lighthouses and churches in various scales could be found at hardware and home improvement stores around the holidays.
Mike, wonderful picture.

The ceramic lighthouses and churches can also be found at antique shops,
The family has great taste in their cars!

Another beautiful, thought provoking layout Mike. Thanks for sharing.
You are welcome, Bob. If we only could shrink down and go about in our little automobiles ...... or our small cars could suddenly become real and full size for us to drive around in.
Many years ago in the 1950's, there was a drive-in grade budget thriller called "The Incredible Shrinking Man" ...... but in that case it was a science fiction horror story and the family cat was ominously terrifying !
Judging by those cars, one can guess that'll be some party / gathering !
And I think the picture was taken by another family member who just drove up in his beautiful 1963 Chrysler 300, so Detroit is well represented !
