Here is an image of an Exhibitors Pass of my Dad's that I still have from a Los Angeles, California import automobile show in 1976.
I am not sure of the gull-winged automobile shown in profile on the pass. Fiat was one of Dad's clients, but I don't believe this was an X1/9 and the DeLorean car was still in the future. A cool automobile none the less !
Very cool and in pristine condition!
and the DeLorean car was still in the future.
The Bricklin SV-1 was available in 1976 - which resembles the car on your pass, however, the Delorean fiberglass prototype was ALSO around in 1976 AND looks MORE like the car on your pass. Interesting, right? 🤔 🤔 🤔
It could be meant to be generic to avoid the appearance of showing any favoritism. Since it is supposed to be an imported automobile show, than maybe the (Malcolm) Bricklin and (John) DeLorean would be considered domestic cars, even though I think the DeLorean was eventually constructed in Northern Ireland.
In any case, I wonder how that show went in Los Angeles back in May of 1976 ?
