Here is another great advertisement from 1947 of a giant Standard Oil of California tanker truck. This vehicle is in front of the soon-to-be operational huge 200" telescope on Palomar Mountain in California.
The big truck is a typically tough and good-looking one from Diamond-T and would make a superb replica in any scale.
