(Pic) Various scale items for use with automobile models

Various objects can be placed in front of or behind ......or within a model car photographic image to help enhance a picture or to help "place" it in a scene. Placement of the car and/or additional object and the use of a "forced" perspective can also be used to fool the eye and make everything seem more real or natural.

This is just an overall image with various scale objects showing some size differences. Many things can stand-in for full-size objects and items can be used in different ways.

Here, the train platform is approximately 027 locomotive gauge ; the parking lot tire stop is just a tile from a home improvement store and may work in 1/18 scale scenes ; the hood scoop is from a 1/18 1963 Dodge 330 ; the drive-in movie speaker is an item from a 1/24 diorama set-up ; the 1947 Chrysler Windsor is 1/43 scale automobile ..........and the very healthy young girl hitchhiker is a 1/18 scale item.
