I still have my official guide sold at the Chicago Automobile Show of 1968 that I went to with my Dad and our family in early 1968. The "new" and giant lakefront McCormick Place had burnt down in a spectacular fire in 1967, so the show had moved back to the International Amphitheater until the new McCormick Place exhibition hall was rebuilt a few years later. (I think in time for the 1971 show)
I thought I would occasionally post images I took from that brochure, which was nearly the height of the American muscle car era. Here are some notable car industry leaders. Hey, I think I know who some of those guys are !
