These are photographs of the exhibits my Dad's display company built for Dodge in 1958 and 1959. One of the displays was in the huge lobby of Chicago's Union Station. Another was done for Dodge at the Automobile Show at the International Amphitheater for the 1958 Auto Show. And one was a photograph/document meant to guide the company's employees on the Auto Show set up for Dodge in 1959.
How cool!! Fantastic display work. I am so glad your dad did these and even happier that his faithful and loving son kept these treasures in his honor. And so much thanks goes to you for sharing them with all of us appreciative car nuts!
You are welcome, Tony ! As always, you don't always realize or appreciate things until they are gone.
Very interesting. Thanks for sharing.

+1 to Tonys comments. I really enjoy seeing these unique historical items. Real treasures and thanks for sharing them Mike
Yes sir, pretty cool. As Mike noted, it's nice to see these truly unique American displays from the past because American new-car-auto shows today are merely a shadow of their former selves. One wonders how much longer they'll even continue. 😔
I agree with all of the thoughts expressed above.
By the way, for a number of years, I used to have a indented block of clear lucite covering a solid clear solid gel that was used by my Dad's display company to effect an automobile "floating" on water by placing all four tires on such items in a water pond.
It was a pretty cool look and probably something that would never be used or even thought of now days.
Your dream automobile floating magically across the water right to you !
How totally cool. Thanks for sharing!
