@rich-sufficool SELDOM WRONG AND RIGHT AGAIN RICH!

I agree completely, period! That's exactly the problem  I have....  I want EVERYTHING to be 100% accurate. I will not model it if I can't PROVE it!  So, to your point...  Can you imagine me ensuring I've correctly replicated the proper indigenous trees & shrubs?  Not to mention clothes, buildings, etc., etc..... As you noted, it would take me YEARS to do something really big!  With a FIVE year break, I've been working on my 1/18 1956 COE hauler project for OVER 7 years, and that's just one model. Yikes! 🙄 😯 🙄

I do have a few diorama ideas for something in 1/64 and I PROMISE I will keep everyone in the loop.

Once again, Rich...  your dioramas are excellent! I really enjoy them.

@chris If you want to see what can be done, my god is the late Shepard Paine. His dioramas and window boxes are just superb. The Belgian modeler Francois Verlinden (now Verlinden Productions) is another master of the art/craft. Google them. Paine's books were an absolute tutorial for me. I bought one of his works that he did the master for Franklin Mint that was executed in pewter on the siege of the Alamo.
