This is a nice kit, relatively easy to work with. The body plastic was so thick and glossy I decided not to paint it. Lot of detailed parts, yet they still give us one of my biggest bugbears, molded on door handles. Different body style to the Australian Ford Futura, which was basically a better appointed Falcon. Kit is readily available and inexpensive.

This one looks superb and a great job on this model, Geoff ! My 1964 Ford Futura is a 1/18 hardtop from Yat Ming and they really are such attractive automobiles.

This is a really nice looking model of a very attractive car; that until now I was not familiar with - thanks for posting it. It's much sharper than the '63 Falcon and I wonder if Ford Australia always ran Falcons as Futuras, with the same body? Well done for not painting it, this colour is great!

thanks, Charles, Mike and John. Sort of a "pretty car" is my take. Charles the Futura name was used throughout the years for the Australian Falcon range. Always featured more 'refined' appointments.
