Of the vintage sci-fi models I've built, These two were from the '30s Flash Gordon and Emperor Ming the Merciless serials, Flash's ship is being towed by a popular toy of that era based on the Auto Union streamliner. With Ming's ship is another popular Art Deco sci-fi car. The cars are modern dicast reproductions. Other ships I've built are Commando Cody's ship from the '40s and, from the '50s, Disney's XR-1 4 stage rocket designed by Willy Ley and the 1953 "War of the Worlds" manta ray craft.
Oh, yeah. Up until recently I had a trio of Buck Rodgers comic book spacecraft... but they didn't survive my move. RIP
The only thing I have earlier is the Machine Man AKA: Maria from Fritz Lang's 1927 sci-fi movie "Metropolis". (She's on the right).

@rich-sufficool Yep! I remember this beautifully built model/diorama and thought you would truly appreciate the 1/6 pre-painted model/scene I posted. I really like the posable eyes - now THAT'S cool!

@chris Yessir, Chris. "The eyes have it". And all those hands offer so many iconic poses. All those accessories can put him in the castle dungeon where he was tormented by Igor. A shot out to the late, great Dwight Frye. You'd never know he was a Shakespearean actor playing both Igor and Dracula's Renfield.
