My Grandparents had this bound volume of the American picture magazine "Life" from October, 1948. The advertisements are great and very interesting. In those years, artists renditions were widely popular and could be flexible in showing off a product or an automobile.

love some of the advertising lines and initiatives.  "Whether you're a doctor, lawyer or merchant use less oil get more power!!!"" Grandpa refused to budge until the Plymouth air pillow" My favourite is "smart babies know Ford's the car of the year"! Fascinating insight into a very very different time. Thanks Mike

You are lucky to have this great series of adds from 1948, Mike. Wonderful to see the art and cars of the post war period.
