Found this at Target last week.  I hadn't planned on buying one, but hard for me to pass up buying a model in person.  Nicely done, especially for an entry level Maisto for only $25.  I like the fact that it has actual seat belts.  Good shut lines & the exterior overall looks good to me.

I like the C8, maybe not as much as the long nosed look of the previous generations...but on the road, they certainly stand out in a good way.

with Maisto's C7 Stingray...

Looks really good for a budget model, would make a good donor car for someone who is into modifying diecast models. I think the only ones I've seen in street or race versions have been resin with no opening features.

Wow Gavin, I haven't seen any 18th scale at any Target in years. I got my C8 at Costco last October. I liked the dark gray metallic color but the C8's black accents practically disappeared so I chose the red. The paint is really thick in places and looks toy-like. The gray one had perfect paint. Next up for me is to paint those black wheels. I do not like black wheels.

 Your pics look very good. They always have. Thanks for taking the time to share them with us.

@100ford2003  Thanks very much...I appreciate it!  I do agree the paint is very thick, typical of most budget models.  Like you, I generally dislike black rims, but I did like the fact that these have the silver trim on the outside.

@old-caddys  Both GT-Spirit & Top Speed have made the C8 in sealed resin.  The C8 isn't a car I'd pay over $100 for, so this one will work for me.  As you said, it would be a very good base for adding some detail.

I bought the red one and charcoal one at Sams. I'm a big fan of the C8. A friend has eight 1/1 Corvettes including a red C8. I got to drive it and I must say that was quite a thrill...it's comfortable although the visibility is somewhat limited.

@bob-jackman

Your friend sounds like a man after my own heart! I can only afford one Corvette at a time.

John S., I can only afford one at a time as well. I have owned my 61 for 49 years now...I guess it must be a keeper.

Nice shots, these are very easy to modify. They come apart so easy even I could do it. Slightly lowered, some colors added and Corvette logos added to the headrest.
