KK Scale with anonther film car. The 1965 Buick Riviera arrives at the end of October in four colours, and the dark red one is listed by the factory as the Road House car — the Riviera Dalton drives once he has put the Mercedes into storage. That is the fourth film subject the company has put into tooling in three weeks. Around it, a heavy weekend: Tecnomodel announced nine in 1:18, Spark opened twenty-seven new 1:43 references, AUTOart has four Chargers and a Guards Red 930, and MR Collection built a Revuelto exactly once and put a price on it. Reference numbers, prices and delivery windows are given where the manufacturers stated them, and flagged where they did not.
Dalton’s Riviera, and three others
Four 1:18 Buick Rivieras from 1965, all quoted for the end of October:

In the 1989 film, Dalton garages his Mercedes 560 SEC when he gets to Jasper and drives a 1965 Riviera around town instead — the practical car, the one it does not matter if somebody puts a knife through. It is a small part of the film and exactly the sort of thing a certain kind of collector has wanted in scale for thirty-odd years.
What makes it worth a heading rather than a line is the pattern. Inside three weeks KK-Scale has announced the 1963 Lincoln Continental in Matrix Reloaded and Marnie specifications, the Back to the Future II Hilux, and now this. No other manufacturer at this price point is working the film licence angle anything like as hard, and KK-Scale is doing it inside ordinary releases rather than as premium boxed editions — three plain Rivieras and one that happens to be a movie car, at the same reference series and presumably the same money.
One caution on the colours. The factory’s own list pairs the names and the numbers in two columns, and the reading above follows the sequence as published; if you are ordering a specific shade, confirm the reference with your source before committing.

Tecnomodel: a 400 GT Monza in five colours, and four Tyrrells
Nine new references, all quoted for late in the first quarter or early in the second quarter of 2027. The road car first:
- TM18-358A — Lamborghini 400 GT Monza, Rosso Corsa
- TM18-358B — Rosso Mugello
- TM18-358C — Blue Abu Dhabi
- TM18-358D — metallic silver
- TM18-358E — metallic bronze
The 400 GT Monza is about as obscure as a Lamborghini gets — a handful of cars bodied outside the factory in the mid-sixties, sitting in the gap between the 350 GT and the Miura, and never modelled in any quantity at this scale. Five colours of it is a striking amount of confidence in a car most people have never seen a photograph of.
The racing half is the 1995 Tyrrell-Yamaha:

A mid-nineties midfield Tyrrell is not a commercial subject, which is the point of Tecnomodel. Tarquini in the number 3 at the Nürburgring is the deep cut — he was standing in for Katayama, who had hurt his neck in an enormous accident at Estoril, and it was one of only a handful of Formula One starts he made in that period.

AUTOart: the Charger Scat Pack Widebody, four colours

In stock now at retailers. Three of the four names are revived from 1970, which is the whole marketing idea of the Scat Pack and is also why these will sell: a Sublime Charger is a colour people already have an opinion about.
AUTOart: Guards Red, and the 930 run fills in
78114 is the Porsche 911 Turbo 3.0 (930) in Guards Red, die-cast, expected in North America around December 2026 or early 2027. When this run was first listed the published references stopped at three and the distribution listings ran to six; this is one of the colours that had not been named.
Guards Red on a 930 is the default mental image of the car, so it is slightly odd that it was not in the first wave. Two references in the series are still unnamed.
MotoHelix: two more Giulia GTAs
- M89019 — Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA, Montreal Green
- M89020 — Rosso GTA red
Both quoted for the second quarter of 2027, no price or edition size published. These are not straight repaints of the 2024 car: the caliper colours and the interior stitching have been changed to suit the new exteriors, which is more work than a colour variant usually gets.
MR Collection: a Revuelto built once
LAMBO058AT9 — the Lamborghini Revuelto LPI 800-4 in Arthemis Green, 1:18, hand-made resin. One piece. Not a limited edition of twenty-five or fifty; one. MR Collection is selling it direct from its own Atelier store at 579 euros plus shipping.
The Atelier line has been drifting this way for a while — single cars in single colours, built to order and numbered as one-offs. It is a different proposition from a model you can find later if you think about it too long, and the price reflects the fact that there is no second chance.
ACME: a Nash Metropolitan as a Checker taxi
A1801000 — the 1959 Nash Metropolitan in Checker Taxi livery, 1:18, MSRP $139.95 on ACME’s own listing.
The dates disagree: ACME’s product page quotes a ship window of December 2026 or January 2027, while the announcement circulating elsewhere says March 2027. Treat the date as unsettled.
As a subject it is genuinely strange, and that is the appeal. The Metropolitan was a 1,800-pound economy car with a 55-inch track, built in England for the American market, and nobody ever ran a fleet of them as taxis. It is an invented livery on a real car, which normally reads as a gimmick and here reads as a joke worth owning.
GMP: a car trailer and a tool set

Diorama accessories at this scale are thin on the ground and usually poor, so two properly specified sets at forty dollars are worth knowing about. The trailer in particular solves a problem — there are a lot of 1:18 tow vehicles and almost nothing correct to put behind them.

Sun Star: the Fjord Blue Beetle, and a number that does not match
Sun Star has posted a walkaround of the 1:12 1958 Volkswagen Beetle Saloon with the opening roof in Fjord Blue, limited to 1,000 pieces. The company’s post gives the item number as 5221.
Sun Star’s own shop lists the Fjord Blue car as 5223, at $336, also limited to 1,000. The colour was first shown in August 2025 alongside the Agave Green car, with delivery quoted for March 2026, so what has changed is availability rather than the announcement. Check the number before ordering.
Setting the paperwork aside, a 1:12 Beetle with a working fabric sunroof is an unusual object. The scale is dominated by racing cars and supercars, and a people’s car at fifteen inches long is the sort of thing that either looks magnificent or looks like a toy. Sun Star’s 1:12 Beetles have consistently looked magnificent.

Spark: twenty-seven references, and the whole BTCC front end
The touring car half is the most complete thing Spark has done with the British championship in years — ten cars from the 2026 season, most of them from the Knockhill weekend:

Four cars from one team at one meeting is a completist’s set, and the BTCC audience is one of the few that reliably buys that way.
The road cars run to fifteen, and the Lamborghini and Porsche blocks are the substance: S6743 and S6746, the Countach 5000S of 1982 and the 5000 QV of 1985; S6742, the LM002 in silver; S5423, S5424, S5426 and S8785 / S8786 — the 964 Turbo S Lightweight in Speed Yellow, the 964 RS, the 930 Turbo 3.0 of 1975 and the 992.2 Carrera T in Crayon and Jet Black. Alongside them S7864 and S7785, the Aston Martin Valkyrie Spider and the Valhalla; S6741, a Corvette C1 V8; S6744, the Gordon Murray T.50s; S6745, an Opel Kadett C GT/E; S5425, a Maserati Bora; and S7599, the Donkervoort F22.
Two more from the 1991 Macau Guia race close it out: SA248 and SA250, the BMW E30 M3s of Roberto Ravaglia and Joachim Winkelhock.
A Kadett C GT/E and a Bora in the same batch as a T.50s says something about how wide Spark’s 1:43 net has become. No prices or edition sizes were published.
IXO: Bertelli back in a works Toyota
A 1:43 Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 as run by Lorenzo Bertelli and Simone Scattolin at Rally Sweden 2026 — Bertelli’s return to the world championship in a factory car, tyre trouble and all. No price or delivery window was published; the reference on the product image reads RAM1034B.22, which we have not been able to confirm against a listing.

- Mini GT spent the Suzuka 1000km weekend in the NISMO GT3 pit and says more NISMO GT3 cars are coming in 1:64 “very soon”. No references, no names, no dates — but the company rarely says that without something behind it.
- Pre-orders on two Almost Real 1:64 cars — an ARbox Porsche 911 GT3 R in 2026 GT World Challenge Asia Mandalika test livery, and a KAIZO RWB 993 “Apple” special edition in white. Almost Real in 1:64 is a relatively new direction for a company built on large-scale die-cast.
