Recently John (john3976) has featured several of his custom ordered 1/18 MNTrailers. This Romanian company can build to spec. or offer several off the shelf variations of 1/18 semi-trailers both foreign & domestic.
Their latest creation, a "2014-ish" Wilson Cattle-Livestock dual axle Trailer, intrigues me. When you consider that 80% of this is laser-cut 0.8mm steel it's akin to an Erector set only on steroids! Frankly, I'm fascinated by this "thing."
-The last two pics are of the 1:1 (it's easy to see how one might not realize this 😏 😏)
Mike does some very nice work, My NASCAR Style Trailer is en-route right now. I can't wait to get it.
Mike did a 6 car car hauler trailer as a budget trailer for customers, he puts a lot of work into his products and being it is him and his father he does not benefit from the ability to mass produce to lower prices. I saw a review of the 6 car hauler and someone in the comments section pretty much trashed it and compared it to the car hauler trailer NGZ I think the companies name is, that trailer holds 8 to 9 cars and is cheaper and has features the budget MNTrailers does not have but the NGZ trailer is mass produced in China.
Mike is a diecast collector himself and I like that he makes a nice product and will customize it working with you and will even do custom livery as well so dealing with him I am dealing with a fellow collector.
@john-barry Yes, I would need red mud/dirt ...lots of red dirt down south. Then of course, dark brown clay bits & piles to simulate, well.... you know.. 😏
@john3976 Patience is a virtue, seldom found in men, never found in women.
