Should anyone be interested:
I noticed last week that ACME's 1955 Chevrolet Nomad was no longer appearing on Supercar1's site - despite being on pre-order/reserve for over two years. I contacted Kraig and he assured me that 1/18 "new tooling" model will be produced - and hopefully be released by year's end.
Here's a few prototype pics. According to ACME, full function '56 & 1957 Nomads will follow. 😉 🙂

Were the ‘55s available with seatbelts ? if not, maybe Acme could save a little bit of money by leaving them off the model.

@100ford2003 HA! I never even gave it a second thought.... in '55, seatbelts were not yet mandatory, but they could be ordered from the Dealership. Hopefully ACME will omit these before production. 😉

Well Chris what I was really thinking of was saving a little bit of money and making sure that the tires had valve stems LMAO
