...somewhat of a re-post from a while back.
I've said it a thousand times, for over 13 years (and have the Forum search history to prove it ) ... undoubtedly the worst 1/18 Sun Star Platinum Series ever tooled - crappier than their "squashed windshield" '58 Lincoln.
The droopy fenders, crazy A-pillar, stupid windshield, tucked in fins, and overall proportions deem it a super loser. Years ago, I re-worked my convertible a bit but never really touched the hardtop.
When released, I predicted Sun Star would never issue a "top-up" convertible, because the body was so ***ked up. 13 years later, and, well.... no "top-up" convertible. 😉 😉 🙄
It's such a shame because MANY of the details, like tires, badging, wheelcovers, trim, are extremely well done....and you gotta love those swivel seats. 😊

Sorry.... I just assumed everyone knows how screwed up these '59 Dodge fins are. 🙄 🙄
Basically, all 1957 - '59 Chrysler fins have a "V-shape" when viewed from the rear. Sun Star engineers totally goofed this and designed the '59 fins with a slight "inward slant," and the NOT the correct "outward V shape."
Judge for yourself - pretty pathetic, right? 🙄 😯 😩 😳 😬

I have this Dodge in two tone blue. I used to really like it but now I hate it because of all the flaws. I'm kidding, I still like it anyway.
