1969 Pontiac GTO "The Judge"
1:18 scale diecast models are few and far between at local retail outlets nowadays. When I saw this 1:18 scale MotorMax 1969 Pontiac GTO "The Judge" priced at what new Maistos sell for at Sam's Club annual Christmas shipments, I couldn't resist getting it although it did have some minor problems. The display box was a near wreck and the plastic base had some major cracks and fissures. The car body itself, however, had a couple of paint chips and the passenger side rear window was pinched and has a small white cloudy spot on it (picture 5). It was imperative to add a 55 year old tachometer decal to the blank hood area (picture 6); additional detailing to the engine and interior will be done in the future. Otherwise, the model is unusually heavy, well built and photographs quite well.
Thanks for looking...

I didn't know that Motor Max did a '69 GTO. I don't think I've ever seen a "Judge" in that color...
... I look forward to seeing it after you've finished detailing it!
I have an un-assembled Motormax GTO Judge kit in Carousel Red.
They're not bad!
