@franklemire The race version is a super nice job, I have never purchased any of the race versions because of the extra cost added to them, but I have always admired the look of them.
Yes sir, I knew. This was one of many, many models sent to me from Tony K. for review purposes and it was included in the review.@perrone1 I have that one to, it is another nice product from Exoto with awesome detail. Nice photos of yours. Did you know the shifter moves forward and backwards and the linkage moves with it?
@john3976 I'm fortunate enough to have had a few of the Dennis Koleber 'race weathered' cars gifted to me to go along with the ones I was able to get at a good price. The C9 is an excellent example but my favorite because of its race history at Le Mans in 1967 is this Ford GT MKIV
@franklemire OK, the race is over, the dirt has been on it long enough. Why not wash that puppy?!
LOL! The 'weathering' looks great on these cars; it looks so authentic.
All of the cars pictured are great models from Exoto. The photography you guys did is great too. I know I have the #61 and #62 "Kouros" Saubers in 1/43, and I might also have the AEG Sauber also but I have to check the display cabinet. My Sauber models are all 1/43 HPI versions which I think are very well done.
I've always loved the livery of this version!Excellent photos fellas!
May I add Exoto's # 61 Sauber?
@marty-johnson Me too. It's a men's cologne. I used to have some. Pretty decent too.
