I love the "Phantom Works" episode where this baby boomer wants Dan Short to find and restore a 1967 Corvette L89 with the 427/435hp tri-carb set up. Of course Dan Short was incredulous of the request as only 16 of these cars were ever built. Of course Dan finds a car (owned by his brother!) that had the engine and trans stolen decades ago., and, of course, he actually finds the original engine to boot.
This is AUTOart's model of the rarest of the rare roadster optioned with side pipes.

Autoart? I'm a bit confused. It says Franklin Mint on the chassis. Â
yeah, AutoArt never did the '67. The only C2s they did were the '63 Coupe & Roadster.
@marty-johnson My bad. I got a boatload of C2 AUTOart Vettes to review way back when and I thought the roadster was one of them. Hmmm... it looks pretty good for a 1/24.
