Kinda weird how the hood trim is painted but Acme spent $ on a passenger side door mirror which were probably options in ‘55. As for its “rake” it might have air shocks installed like my 61 Country Sedan.

Will be available soon!  😀 😀   IMO, it looks pretty good - but hopefully ALL the tires will match; that spare looks amazing, but it appears to be different from the others.  🤔 🤔 🤔

Back in the day, you paid a hefty premium for white walls. It wasn't unusual to have the cheaper black wall as a spare. I remember my father getting 4 new tires for his '54 Ford and wasn't going to pay extra for white walls. The dealership was out of blackwalls so they gave him 4 new white walls but mounted the tires so the white walls faced inwards. Boy was my old man pissed. LOL

@rich-sufficool  I don't care about the spare being a blackwall, but I do care that it doesn't match the other four in design and tread pattern.    You'll notice that ACME engineered & used two different tire designs.

That spare tire looks in scale and period correct with its "pie-crust edge,"  but the other four tires are ALL WRONG!

They're too wide, and they do NOT look like scale 15" rims!

@100ford2003  "Air shocks"  or not, the car should not be "raked."      ACME omitted quite a bit comparted to initial prototype pics from years ago.   Gone are the tailgate straps (line cords ), seat beats (which weren't really correct anyway ) and a few other things.

...and yes, BOTH mirrors were optional!    ACME blew it with that silver hood trim, gappy A-pillar, goofy tires, and terrible headlights.

@chris If this is just the prototype, I wouldn't worry too much about the production model. You should see some of first prototypes I get to shoot. it seems like the vendor will put anything on what they haven't completed just to get the owner SOMETHING to critique or to show the automaker that gave the license to build something to look at with caveats. It's a back and forth thing that can go on seemingly forever.

"Come on Acme an learn how to do headlights from Sun Star!"

Yeah, I've heard a few collectors "screaming"  about those hideous scale headlights.   I've seen better headlights on 1/64 models!    Compare the sealed-beam headlights on Sun Star's '59 Olds, which was a $54.99 model back in the day, to ACME's $140 '55 Nomad's "sealed-beam headlights"  - well don't concentrate too hard, you'll get sick!     🤢 🤢 🤢 🤮
