This Ferrari 250 GTO/64 #27 N.A.R.T. coupe driven by Fernand Tavano and Bob Grossman at the 1964 Le Mans 24 Hours that placed 9th overall. It was one of a few different coupe body designs that were tried for the 1964 season. This inexpensive Jouef model was the only show in town 30 odd years ago save for a Guilloy model with a similar body that had an integrated roof wing. I only added BMF headlamp bezels and door hardware, and lightly blackwashed the wire wheels to give them a better finish as well as making them appear more in scale. I like the side exiting exhausts.

Once again Rich, your augmented cheapy modelΒ Β has been elevated to shelf-worthy status. Really noticeable are the wheels when contrasted with that untouched spare.Β Very nice work, and oh so cool!Β π πΒ
I checked, I have but one 1/18 Jouef,Β Β a 1994 Mustang. From 15ft away, it looks great!Β π π πΒ
