As long as it's Rosso Corsa Italiano. It's hard for me to picture this 1985 328 GTS in any other color. In those days, 85% of all Ferraris were done in what actually is the official racing color for all Italian race cars starting with early '30s Alfa Romeos. In recent times, only 45% of Ferraris are ordered so. Ferrari has a huge palette of colors to choose from and there are at least 8 different shades of red offered from an almost orange Rosso Dino to the dark maroon Rosso Mugello . This Mattel model looks fantastic in its Scuderia finish.
The 288 GTO is one of my all-time favorite Ferrari designs. To me, every line is perfection.

Beautiful !
Beautiful model, @rich-sufficool. Love the styling of the 308/328/288, they're just classics. This model is actually by Kyosho, even if the box has a small Hot Wheels/Mattel logo on it. HWE never released the 328, unfortunately. I missed out on the Kyosho & would have loved to have a HWE to replace my old Anson version.

Oh GOD ..sorry for drooling...but the 288 GTO is IMO the most DDG Ferrari ever and tied with the Daytona and F40.

You're right, for its price point & age, it was a very decent model & predated the Kyosho & HW 308/328s by quite a few years. It just didn't look great compared to the newer models.
