...I'm thinking YOU might like this 😏 😏
Chris! Didn't we see the 1:1 of this at the Peterson Museum?
@marty-johnson Yes, yes we did (along with a dozen other Movie cars 😎) But the wheels on this 1/6 monster are not dark. I wonder why they don't match the wheels we saw or the wheels seen on any Google pic? 🤔 🤔
A real messed-up mind melting mystery of a mess Marlowe, holy hot dog... sure sounds like a question for Rich! 🤪 🤪

It has been there both times I've been as well.

Despite the fact that they don't know the difference between a .45 Cal Thompson submachine gun and a Browning .50 Cal T36 machine gun, those two nerds made quite a presentation video. I never knew the car sat on Mickey Thompson racing tires. This Jazzinc replica is such a labor of love that strives for impossible fidelity. I want to buy one just to reward those guys for the incredible investment they made as basically a mom and pop company. Thanks for the heads up on this video, it was quite entertaining. The model is absolutely incredible.

You're welcome, I assumed YOU'D enjoy this. Well, I was a bit surprised he was unaware of Mickey Thompson (and MT tires ), thinking it was a fictious name.
So... why the different colored rims, any idea?
@chris - In the video, they mentioned that some inconsistencies are due to various versions of the car that were produced for two movies. The color of the wheels might just be due to that explanation.
From the comments in the video, it sounded like neither knew who Mickey Thompson was. I was a bit surprised because I thought Mickey Thompson was a household name. Apparently, his name is not.I never knew the car sat on Mickey Thompson racing tires.

Thanks, I missed that.... too much in shock, I suppose, over their "MT" comments. Heck, even I know about Mickey Thompson! 🙄 😯

They are not car guys, they're ComiCon guys who are into the minutia of super hero movies. Now "Mickey Mouse" they know. LOL
