Great model. Autoart has made some fantastic models in their time and their occasional race cars were some of their best!

@100ford2003 That's a good question.....  but I don't have an answer.    What I can say is that this updated Autoart release is priced roughly $100 more than most of their current offerings, bringing the total, w/shipping, into the $340 - $450 range.

Apparently, this is another example of Autoart updating older tooling with greater fidelity and execution.  This '65 Honda F1 was initially released in 2014, but it did NOT look this good 12 years ago.    Despite the price point it seems to be selling fairly well.  😎

I have the 1/12 scale Tamiya 1965 Honda RA272 plastic and metal version of this Formula 1 car. The AutoArt version compares well.
