Another superstock entry prepped by the good ole Chrysler engineers at the Ramchargers Performance Center is this 1970 Plymouth Hemicuda. Driven and restored by the late Dean Nicopolis, it's the only documented survivor of all the Ramchargers from the '60s and '70s. This car started out as a BS23R 1970 Hemi 'cuda and by 1974, was converted to a drag car under Dean's direction and he raced it up until 1986 and was virtually unbeatable in the SS/DA class and even pulled off a overall win at the IHRA Summernationals. Besides the reworked R-code Hemi, it has Torqueflite automatic with a B&M converter and a Dana60 rear end.
The model appears accurate to its restored condition, except for the "3100" and "Dean Nicopolis" in white letters on both door windows.

Cool car, pics & history.
Seems unbelievable to me that this is the ONLY RC survivor. I suppose all those other RC cars were either wrecked, sold off or stripped for parts. 😔Â
Ahh, the '70 Cuda... One of the top 3 best looking muscle car designs of the year.
After '70 it was all downhill.
