BBR just announced a Ferrari 288 GTO in resin with no mention of it on the board. I know not everyone is into Ferrari's, but I am. Not having one I had to consider a hi-priced resin or what other options were out there. The 1/12 looked good but too expensive and the Bburago was too toyish and misshaped. I liked the Hot Wheels version but on ebay they were averaging around $299 to $399 and poorly detailed. I liked the wheels on this version even better than the BBR, they seem deep dished on the rear with really wide tires. I was feeling lucky and pulled the plug on one on ebay, listed as used, but only $114 and $9.95 shipping. I read the complete description which said listed as used because of it's age but it was like new. It had been displayed and had dust in the body lines and seats.
It comes apart very easy. Five screws, open the doors and the chassie falls right out and the steering stays intact unlike some. I cleaned everything with soap and water and a detail brush. Added a little paint and here it is, tell me what you think!
It's metal...and has opening parts too...

I would have easily pulled the trigger on that for $114.00!! I bought my Jouef 1967 P330 for $60.00, I love that car. Your Ferrari is on my bucket list!!!
