... I've had my small collection of 1:18s on a bookshelf because I didn't have space in my model room for the display cases. I finally ordered some new display cases from Carney Plastics that will fit in the bookshelves. So, I'm giving the models a bath, and re-shooting them. Here's the first one which is showing a little wear on the front fender stripes. The detail on the Xoto models is excellent.

Be very careful if you are going to use compressed air, any decals that may be on some of them can blow off, I had a Formula One car that happened to, a can of compressed air blew off half the rear wing decal. That was a lesson I learned many years ago.

Thanks for the heads up, John. I was thinking about using compressed air, but didn't have any. I put a few drops of liquid soap in water and washed rinsed them with that. So far, so good.
