Exoto 1:12 1968 Ford GT40 MkI #6- Ickx/Oliver 1969 Le Mans Winner
I'll admit, I'm relatively new here. I've come to "inherit" the above listed car. I can't seem to find any info on what it's worth, how many were made, etc. It's the 1:12 version. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think you might be just a bit mistaken. There isn't a 1:12 scale Exoto GT40.
Exoto does have a 1:10 scale model but it is of the '66 cars of Chris Amon-Bruce McLaren and the Dennis Hulme-Ken Miles. I believe you might be referring to the GMP model which was done in 1:12 scale of the '69 GT40.

Assuming you mean the GMP car, as Marlowe says, and it surely....
...must be so, then I can help a little. I bought one of these six years ago on ebay for ?200, but that was a steal compared to now. I would estimate its current value at ?400.

It was produced by GMP......................
The packaging and bottom of the model should have 'GMP" labeling, it was a production run of 2,000. Although it displays well, the body shape is not 100% coorect. Values fluctuate quite a bit on these larger models, check the auction sites for 'sold' listings

You're right.
It is the GMP version. The problem I seem to be encountering is that the GMP website no longer exists or I"m looking in the wrong area. And thats prevented me from finding an accurate price for it.
I just want to be rid of the wretched thing.
