The Bauer Exclusive 1934 Mercedes 500K Roadster simply reached another level of accuracy and details in this large scale. No surprise it still command over $3K on the secondary market. But ........ who buys??????

  I see on eBay the sellers are asking $3,000 but according to this auction result, that number is "ambitious."

I bought one for $550+S&H several months ago, there were NO BUYERS at $600, I thought it is ridiculous. The model is slightly disproportionate though, somethings wrong with the width to length ratio.

Definitely, detail is extreme. It is so extreme, every time you open it you are afraid a part will break loose and you will never figure out where it came from.
