A purple Audi hot rod wagon - pretty damn cool!   For the longest time I hated shiny black wheels, but in the last few years I've come to really like them.  They look perfect here!

Congrats and enjoy!  😎 😎 😎

PS

See now....  aren't these "full function"  diecasts much more fun?     Isn't it great when you can explore ALL that detail?     - just throw all your sealed resins away!    😀 😀

@chris I'm still not a fan of the black wheels. As to your sealed resin models, I'll be happy to take them off your hands. The ones I have, I dearly love and I'll give yours a good home.

No, no....  I was referring to Ben's sealed 1/18 resins.   I don't own any 1/18 sealed resins.   The closest I've come to buying anything completely sealed was KK-Scale's 1/18 sealed diecast 1961 Cadillac CDV.

I figure that if I ever pull the trigger  I'll probably cut out all the panels, making everything operable - as it should be!  😏 😏 😏

For Bob 7
For Bob 8

I have this model and wonder why they issued it with black wall tires.

@bob-jackman Yes indeed, a strange thing to do.   In 1961, whitewalls were an option, but practically every customer bought them - of course.  🙄
