Ford's Fox Body platform wasn't just used for their 3rd gen Mustangs. It was also employed for sedans and wagons like the Fairmont, Granada, Ford LTD, Mercury Zephyr and even the Lincoln Continental. I got a boatload of Fox body Mustangs when did reviews for GMP products. Here's few that stand out for either their importance or quirkiness. First is the Mustang Cobra SVT:
A rather rare Twister ll commissioned by the Kansas City Regional Office:
A nitrous blown street racer:

A great selection of foxy 'Stangs Rich - and LUCKY you! I've always had to pay for my foxes, including the non-Mustang variety. 😏
I've seen all of those before except that Kansas City Twister II. 😎 Although the Mustang Fox body platform officially ended in 1993, I think some aspects remained until 2014. 🤔
I believe 2015 Mustangs were truly ALL new. 🤨 🤔
We bought a 1989 Mustang GT convertible new and kept it for 23 years. It was black with silver skirting, grey leather interior, five speed manual and white convertible top. Didn't want to sell it but we just had too many cars and I didn't want it sitting outside.
