Over on the 1/24 Forum I posted two of my 1955 Pontiac models. Here's a couple from my larger models.

Must have models for the reason I mentioned on the 1/24 forum. I also have the Motor City 1955 models in 1/43 scale.
Outstanding efforts by Sunstar that simply blew ALL OF US away 15 + years ago! 😲 😲 These 1955 Pontiacs launched their successful Platinum Series and left me almost speechless when I first saw them. I vividly remember thinking, "All this detail, great fit & finish, good weight, nice packaging, etc... all for about $45! - SOLD!"
Cool pics John. 😎 😎
These are just GORGEOUS! Wow!
Yep, I'll NEVER forget the day I received my first SunStar Pontiac.... The fit and finish was outstanding. The convert interior was perfection as were the hubcaps. Under the hood was a modeler's dream...as a matter of fact when I opened up that box I thought I was dreaming. And that model was safely packed in a nice styrofoam clamshell. I kept thinking to myself it just doesn't get any better does it...🙏😇👍

What sensational SunStar models and 1955 Pontiac automobiles. My family had a real 1:1 '55 Pontiac and I am delighted to have several Platinum Series 1/18 diecasts of this one.
