Overall, not bad with hits & misses - typical Norev fare.   They've released several versions of this MB; UNLIKE later versions, early models had gas & brake pedals, and carpeted interiors including package shelves.    The paint & chrome are very nice.  Norev has found a way to paint chrome; I'm not sure how they're doing it, but it looks fantastic (SEE PIC ).

- The sunroof is great, but it was sealed.    I opened it up.   The sunroof can now be open OR closed.  😀 😀

- The trunk is nicely done, but there's no mat or spare.   I fixed that - and will do a much better spare when I want another project.   🙄

- The spare wheel well was too small.  I expanded it.

- The suspension works well, but it sat too high for me.   I lowered it.

- The wheels look good but needed detailing.  I added black paint, but no valve stems (yet ).

** CHECK OUT THE HANDICRAFTS Forum if you want to see how I did ALL THIS stuff.  🤔 🤨 🤔 **

Lastly, the wide-whitewalls are correct as an option for MB in 1966.... brochures verify it - yes, I didn't believe it either.   🙄 🤨

Chris, this modification is so typical of you.  You really do sweat the details!  What a great looking model car!  I love it!

*Norev  Mike, not Sunstar.  Revell  makes one that's similar, but the rear doors & trunk are sealed.  Thanks for the compliments!

Yes, yes, I do....     I wish I didn't at times; I could save myself a TON of aggravation.  😔 😟 😔    Thanks for the compliments.

....see, that's what I thought.  This model, although NOT great, is certainly better than average and DESERVES to have a working sunroof!
