I can see the veggies lined up already..but I realy like many of Maisto's new offerings..good models
<cA lot of collectors won't even look at a Maisto or Welly because of there price ...a very low price indeed compared to most mainline diecast manufactures; but I for one think they really have been putting some fine models out that can compete at less then a 1/3 of some of the competition.
Great paint, good lines many moving parts and desirable models. Plus I think they keep adding new young collectors who will move up the ladder as their paychecks increase.
I salute them for their efforts to bring affordable 'good quality' diecasts to the market place
2016 Chevy for example; Working suspension, detailed interior and motor and opening doors (for over 25 years of no skimping)

'But Ma ......I like Maistos'
LOL, all excellent points, Paul and I certainly agree with you ! A really nice Camaro there, too.
Great to have you back at full throttle from a member of the cancer survivor tribe, had a 3d bone scan yesterday looking for that rogue spot that is sending messages to my PSA
Nice pics Paul. It's good to see your posts again.
John, you take care too.
Totally agree Paul. I've been buying Maistos for years now. They offer a nice selection, reasonable prices, and pretty good quality. They are indeed great starter cars for someone on a limited budget or just beginning the hobby. Their shelf presence is very good.
Couldn't agree more, they are a good way for someone to get into the hobby of collecting diecast. I'd like to see Maisto resurrect their line of race cars as that's really all I collect now. As far as "stock" vehicles the "Special Editions" do look good on display, but lack most of the detailing that a lot of collectors look for. I don't have any of their "Exclusive" series models but I do have a Bburago "Signature" Ferrari California T, a step above what they typically offer at a relatively low price.
Ellen and I pray that they will find that John.......I am sure they will
Can't keep a good man down......"survivor five" to you John
Great to see you posting again Paul! I like Maisto models too! The last one I bought at COSTCO was the Rousch 427R Mustang convertible. It displays well next to the AutoArt and GMP Mustangs. Realistic door hinges and pretty well detailed interiors.
IMHO, they make great bang for the buck models!
I have the Maisto C7 Corvette in white with blacked out wheels.. I was waiting for the
Autoart C7 Corvette but after examining the Maisto, I opted for it over the Autoart because there is such a large discrepancy in price between the two but minimal difference in appearance and finish. The Maisto is a steal at Costco's asking price.
