I have been trying to find a good dust seal for between the middle of this case 71" Tall 48" Wide 20" Deep and first tried white felt weather seal but it did not fully contact the second sliding glass door, so I found a different felt weather seal that did make contact with the second sliding glass door sealing it but that one was a black color. I felt the white and the black were too prominent and distracted when viewing the case. I happened upon a clear sliding door seal and purchased that and it while you will see anything that runs down the middle of the glass doors this clear vinyl seal does not stick out as much.
What do you think?
Well, "clear" is definitely the way to go. Your showcase looks fantastic, but I can't believe you even need a seal. I have only 5 or 6 decent size showcases, all other walls are "open," but dust is not really an issue. Yet, based on your level of "tight control" I think if you had my "loose" set-up, you'd blow your brains out. LoL 😯 😯
They all look great, although the clear can be a bit less visually intrusive. Many years ago on the old Diecast Pub, several members had picked up and were pleased with a standing circular sealed display case at IKEA that could be adjusted to hold a number of 1/18 diecast cars and proportionally more at smaller scales like 1/24, 1/43 and 1/64.
