20-25 years ago, I think I bought mine at WM for about $5. They used to sell 1/18 Motoarmax (Motorworks ) models for $5-$8, unreal, right?
Arguably, the best $5 model ever made, everything opens AND there are no silly dog-leg door hinges! I wish ALL Motormax models were this good.
Other really nice MotorMax 1/18 diecasts I have are the 1950 Chevrolet Bel Air, the 1958 Plymouth Fury, the 1957 Buick Roadmaster, the 1960 Chevrolet and the 1969 Pontiac Judge. All are well done replicas and display extremely well. Their associated MotorWorks brand was great to find at a Wal-Mart.
They really do display well, Bob. It is very nice to have such a great-looking automobile as a 1/18 replica and I can imagine what it was like to drive one of these beauties back in the day. A classy and impressive automobile and it makes for a fine model.

I've taken the Judge apart and was surprised to find that the front fenders are SEPARATE pieces ! Makes it easy for a 'accident repair' display. And I also had both Buicks and thought that they were great models for their price as no other company had produced them.
