but what a pain in the a$$ this Revival kit of the 1937 Auto Union Type C V16 Streamliner was to build. These production pics  are shown without the wheel spats. It's a mixed media kit (diecast, brass, stainless, white metal, copper, rubber and plastic). It has a working suspension and if you look at the rear view, you'll see tiny ball bearings. Assembly was crazy. After almost tearing my hair out and thinking of deep sixing the whole thing, it finally went together (divine intervention, perhaps).

THAT is wild, totally! Kind of a cross between a low-end CMC, an Erector Set , and a plastic AMT model.  Those wire wheels steal the show. Glad you stuck with it; you can always grow more hair!  Besides, look how many new curse words you discovered. 😏 😏

Wonderful build Rich. Chris says you can always grow more hair...I'm glad for you as that isn't the case for me.

I’m deeply impressed that you managed to finish it, Rich. I’ve built several Pochers but I’m not sure that I’d know where to start with this one. Looks great!
