At least, that's the excuse I'm going to use with the BIG BOSS for bringing in another magnificent CMC piece. Yup, a few weeks ago, Rich posted photos of the Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B. From Rich's photos and his very interesting historical dialogue, I couldn't resist having one of my own. A quick search on eBay led me to locate what I considered a decent price for my next CMC model.
I couldn't resist going through the tedious and delicate task of unbuckling the hood (Bonnet) straps so I could see the extraordinary detail of the CMC duplicated engine. And of course, as is the case with all CMC models, the engine detail didn't disappoint. However, along the way, I managed to detach one of the delicate straps from its mooring. Luckily, with the aid of a magnifying lamp, after several attempts, I managed to reattach the strap and return it to its proper location.
Satisfied that I've seen the engine, I'll never undo the straps again. The engine will be forever hidden from my eyes. If I want to see the engine again, I'll just pull up Rich's photos to satisfy any urge I might have. After all, he's a vastly superior photographer to my worse-than-amateur camera hacks, and his photos will be more than satisfying for me. But, I will have the satisfaction of proudly displaying this model! I'll just have to figure out how and where I'm going to display it.

Marty, any CMC model is a work of art. I agree Rich's pictures are always superb but yours are very good as well.

@bob-jackman - Thanks for your kind words, but my photographs don't come close to matching the precision and artistry of Rich, Mike DeTorrice, and many of the others.

I get it, half the fun is just knowing you own it! Have you taken the skirts, or at least one skirt, off yet? - I know, I know.... "Why?" 😏 😏 🤨
Well, congrats Marty! This will make a fine addition to your already crowded, expensive high-end collection of detailed replicas. That damn Richard! 😠 😠

@chris - Nope! And I ain't gonna! I also haven't removed the fender panels. I'm gonna research Rich's photos and see if he did it! If so, that'll be enough for me.
