In 1969 I was a senior in high school. Seeing all the many Muscle cars popping up all over drove me crazy. I wanted them all! I really liked the Cougars, GTO's, 4-4-2's, Chargers, Challengers, well you get the idea. I liked 'em all. And I really liked the this one! Ed Koppy Chrysler/Plymouth had a "Super Bee" on his showroom floor, I visited there often.
1969 DODGE SUPER BEE
Attending school, working part-time at the Sears Catalog store and doing my paper route, the dream of having one of these awesome Muscle Monsters was all I could think of. The thought of owning one was put on the back-burner when I started going out with my girlfriend. It was more fun at the time spending money her, rather than saving for a Super Bee. I never got the car, but I did get her. We've been together ever since. I made the right decision.
