Hi All,

I was excited for this upcoming release, but it took me a while to figure out what didn’t look quite right with the design of the Buick rally wheels.

On the 1965 Riviera the rally wheels are concave like in the below picture.

The model shows a convex design, which is the style used on the 1970 Buck GSX and not the Riviera. Photo for reference below.

Does anyone perhaps know if this is just an issue with the prototype?

Thanks!

Alfred

I do NOT know for certain either way, however, past experience with 1/18 KK-Scale sealed diecast vehicles would suggest that this is indeed a "final production"  model.

I'd be shocked to see a rim change  before the projected October launch.    KK-Scale can be "hit or miss;"  some of their 1/18 cars look pretty good, others......  not so much.  Aside from tooling the incorrect rims, I'd say this Riv. looks pretty good.
