This 1966 #30 Lola Bardahl T70 Mkll Spyder was powered by the same Ford Gurney-Westlake British-American 305 cid V8 that were used later by the Shelby American GT40 race cars. The car was built for Gurney's 'All American Racers' team. The car took pole and won the 1966 Can Am Stardust Grand Prix in las Vegas driven by Dan Gurney.
This is another early GMP model released in 2000. With an open top, you don't miss the doors not opening.
Now, that would be fun to drive into the village to pick up the morning croissants...
I've always been more a fan of the coupes but that didn't stop me from adding some of the spyders as well. Being a Dan Gurney fan I have the #36 MK3B spyder as well
Many people do not know this but Carrol Shelby helped Dan Gurney start All American Racers and was a part of All American Racers from 1964 when it was formed until the late 1960's when Carrol Shelby stepped away.
