Lotus Eleven Recordwagen [PIC]

This series was designed by Colin Chapman with the aerodynamics from the mind of Frank Costin. This particular car employed the 1500cc Coventry Climax engine and was fitted with a bubble top. In 1956 it was driven by Stirling Moss at Monza to a speed of 143 mph.
This is another BoS resin model that I thought would look pretty neat parked next to the Jaguar Type D.

(LINK) Just shows that CABC was a bit of a lad and a huge talent..

BoS are to be congratulated on their subject choice as it is invariably brave, interesting and addresses subject matter not considered by other 1:18 manufacturers in any medium.
Great choice, great pictures, Ritch

BoS Lotus

How does BoS compare to Spark in quality? Spark is suppose to produce a Lemans Lotus (#32)--maybe 1956, and BoS already has that one for sale. BoS seems to be about $50 or more cheaper than Spark, and these BoS pictures look great. I can't imagine how Spark could make it any better.

I don't have a bad thing to say about the BoS.....

The finish is superb. Panel lines are sharp. The canopy is crystal clear and the cockpit is well done.
That's why I let the pictures do the talking.
