Here's a link of Tommy Ivo explaining how the Showboat was built with film footage of the dragster on the track with all 4 tires smoking away. He also explains how he used the 4 engines' torque to stabilize it on the track.

In the video (or article) I'm referencing, Tommy Ivo said the all 4 wheels smoking was an illusion.
In reality, it was only the front wheels that broke traction with wheelspin.
Everyone always says the same thing about how what a nice person is Tommy Ivo. He's one of those people that always has people leave him with a smile.
