I would like to have this one, if everything functioned, though it doesn't appear anything opens on this model. Am I correct?
This definitely is not the Green Goddess, which would be green. It is definitely a Daimler Hooper, though.
EDIT: Matrix appears to have taken a leap in describing this model. It is a Daimler Hooper DE36, which is the same body style of the Green Goddess, but adding that tag to its title is not really kosher.
From my understanding nothing opens and their wording is suspect at the least !
"....it doesn't appear anything opens on this model. Am I correct?"
Yes, it's a sealed Matrix model; but it is pretty.
@modeldadeeee @chris I was editing my post while you gents were posting. I like the look of it, but they are using the fame of the 1:1 Green Goddess to sell their product. A bit of Barnum, in my view.
They've refunded my money.
@chris no idea as they won't respond back to me.🤔😟😞😞😞😞
@chris I sent a message to ensure it is really in stock, just waiting for a response back..
If you scroll down to the bottom of THIS page, you'll see the owners of this website, Legacy Diecast and Mint Models. Doing a search on either one for "Green Goddess" turns up two choices. Same as the eBay item. In Stock!
@perrone1 It's fun spending other people's money, isn't it! 😉 😊 😀
Just responded back, they would have to ship from their warehouse in China. We went that route before and it did not end well. Not only was the wait time deplorable, they changed tariff when nothing was indicated showing such. I avoid tariffs like the plaque. I don't need it that badly to pay a ransom for it.
