I know most folks on this board are not big race fans but I thought you still might like to see my latest display.

I took advantage of a new Solido model at an excellent price to make a display of the exploits of the most honored of all the Ford GT40's

Chassis number P1075 won four races, including Le Mans, in 1968 leading the John Wyer Gulf team to the Manufacturers Championship - It followed that up in 1969 by winning Le Mans again!

This stack is of the car as it looked in each of the four races it won in 1968

I'm a big race fan to, I'm a little jealous of you folks who have a dedicated room/rooms to display your models and some of the displays and dioramas you all have made are very nice, keep up the good work.

@old-caddys It took me 55 years to get my own room. I shared first with my brothers, then roommates and then my wife. For years my collection was in the corner of our bedroom. I got kidded a lot on the boards for the pink walls.

I finally got one when our kids had moved out. When we 'downsized' we did so with the proviso that I got to keep one.
