This 1972 Lancia Fulvia 1.6 HF, nicknamed the "Fanalone" for its huge headlamps, first won the Monte Carlo Rallye that year and went on to start a rally dynasty for Lancia that continued with other winners like the Stratos and Delta S4s.I was so happy to get this beautiful model from AUTOart as a review piece as I loved the race form and livery. It wasn't until I photographed it that I saw it was missing the two passenger headlamp lenses. By that time, all Aa could send me was a civilian HF so I dutifully reviewed that one and never posted these pics for the Lists and Reviews. I ran across these photos today and thought some of you might want to see them.

Wow-wee! Talk about "a ton of detail!" Man, it's all in there, I love it, very cool Rich. 😎 (I was ready to ask about the headlights until I read your post...that sucks!). Do you have the lenses?
A terrific model and great details !

They don't give out parts. I debated on popping out the ones from the standard HF but I was afraid I'd ruin something in the process. I still display this, with my old age eyeballs, it looks fine. LOL
LOL, it's sometimes astounding, isn't it, Rich, that some things don't get noticed until looking at a photograph !
A similar thing happened to me when I first got my SunStar 1960 Plymouth convertible. It is such a beautiful car and model that I immediately set it up to take some pictures and then noticed a headlight lens was missing. It may have fallen out in the box but I couldn't find it. I debated taking the other lens out to make it symmetrical (and it still would have looked great) but I made an inquiry to the on-line store I bought it from about perhaps obtaining a lens. They made a quick call to SunStar and within probably 48 or 72 hours I had a replacement lens free of charge at my door ! Wow, that was wonderful service from the store and SunStar !
@mikedetorrice SunStar has always been extremely helpful. Part of that, at least, is they jnow we post pics and reviews so, for them, it's free advertising.
Great looking model. This racing version appeals to me much more than the street car.
