Red is perfect. That is the colour I had on my MGA twincam. Could not be a better choice.

@rich-sufficool

Hi Rich,

Mine started out white but after a crash racing at Harewood Acres, it was changed to red. (I think that I included a picture of that car on this site last year). That being said, I'm fairly sure that white was not the only colour for the Twin Cam.

PS. Just checked mgaguru.com. The Twin Cam was offered in the full colour range for the regular MGA for each year it was sold.

@chris For under $50, it's a pretty nice looking model. I'd rather the doors were sealed rather than have those godawful doglegs.

What brand of model is this?  I have checked ebay and can't find one for anywhere near $50 like Rich mentioned.

Not sure.  Coincidentally I have been searching ebay for a good quality 1:43 scale MGA in the Minichamps price range, give or take.  I have a couple of Vanguards, which are okay but the wheel quality is really lacking IMO.  There's not much available at this time, which really surprises me because this little car is so popular.  Lots of good quality earlier MGs, TR3s, 4s and 6s plus some decent MGBs but so far no luck with the MGA.
