I don't usually buy models of cars newer than the 1980's and I almost never buy models that are not race cars. This model, like my 1963 Corvette Stingrays, my 1961 Jaguar XKE or my 1967 Shelby Mustangs is an exception. I just love the lines of this car!
There are more expensive (and likely better detailed) models of it out there but as a collection outlier I took a chance on the KK model.

I think it is a pretty respectable model for the price and I really like the black wheels.Â
Wow, Frank bought a car without a meatball on it! The media outlets will want interviews, this is news, breaking news! 😬 😬Â
Congrats Frank. The F40 is one of my all-time favorite Ferraris. As for me though, the black wheels would be gone in a heartbeat. To me they just don't look right for the years the F40 was built. I'm more of a stickler for authenticity.Â
Thanks for the great pics !Â

Addendum: the 288 GTO is DDG IMO !Â
Oh crap, there are so many different Ferraris from so many different decades that I love I can't even begin to list them here !
The important thing is you enjoy the car, people collect different things, you found the ones that bring you pleasure and you have fond memories that your collection brings you, so this is a win win for you and your collection.Â
