My wife just returned from her twice/year trip to Taiwan. Her older brother gave me a model for the Chinese New Year. It's outside my usual collecting interests, but of course, the gracious thing to do is ALWAYS to accept the kind gesture with enthusiasm. I sent him photos.

I LIKE it, it's a cool looking little piece of transportation. And looking at the first set of pics, I'd have sworn those back doors would not open - the gaps are too perfect. But!!! Cool!
Marty, I'm with you. When someone gives me the gift of a model car, even if it's nothing I would normally collect, I thank them for it and it becomes a part of my collection. Each time I look at these gifts, I'm fondly reminded the person who gave it to me.
