Not Your Father's Jaguar... Unfortunately... [PIC]

This 2012 Jaguar XKR-S with it 550 HP blown 5.0 liter V8. Although top end is electronically limited to 186 mph,  it's the most powerful and aggressive Jaguar since the limited XJ220. But... LOOK AT IT!!! It lacks all of Jaguar's legendary unique design elements... save for the elongated oval nose intake, it has the generic look of every GGI-virtual wind tunnel shapes of modern 2 door coupes and hatchbacks. It's the same letdown I felt with the 2004 debut of the Pontiac GTO... it's a friggin' Holden!!! Sure, it offered great power and performance for its pricepoint, but where'd the retro-GTO styling I was waiting for? Yes, this Jaguar is a beast that's indistinguishable from a Honda Accord.
